Candy Kid in Kensington

We were at the Candy Kid's nice new store in Kensington (Calgary) yesterday. It's a few doors down from Wake Bistro. Nice, large space with all the usual goodies as well as tubs of amazing salt water taffy and a nice selection of loose teas.

I was not impressed with the selection its nothing special and pretty limited. Was hoping for more . Wished they have a selection like the coney island candy store in Edmonton.

Agree on the limited selection. It's not your "typical" candy store stocked floor to ceiling with every kind of candy under the rainbow. The addition of the tea shop kind of confused me.

I'd love to see it succeed but it might be tough.

I agree his going to have a hard time unless the store can be unique, time will tell.
