Driving south on I-15

I'm hoping for some last minute help. I'm going to be driving down the I-15 from the strip to the outlet mall near the state line. Are there any good food finds along the way? I'm in particular looking for small diners or other family style places. I don't mind detouring a little bit. Thanks in advance for your help.

Edit to clarify: I'm heading to the Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas. Is there anything close by there?

M Resort is really nice... and Hash House A Go Go is there. Crazy big food... worth checking out.

Great "upscale neighborhood diner" not too far from The 15. Beyond The M, there's nothing. Really. Nothing.

The advice has been interesting and informative. I was hoping that there would be a smallish town I could hit along the way, but I suppose not. Good thing I didn't try to wing it!

Jean is the smallest town you'll hit 11 miles before the state line.
The only things there are the Gold Strike Casino and the Jean Conservation Camp (a minimum-security, all female Nevada Department of Corrections Facility.

Not once you get out of town, unless you count Mad Greek, which is right next to the outlet mall. Kind of a quirky place with mainly burgers and Greek food. I'm not crazy about it -- just OK, IMO.

If you're doing this today, please disregard the following, as it's closed Sunday.

Otherwise, if you get off I-15 at Blue Diamond (a couple of miles past Mandalay Bay) and head east, that becomes Windmill as you cross the Strip. Continue east another mile or so, and after you cross Bermuda, you'll see Bachi Burger on the left in a small strip mall. Great burgers and fries, and other interesting sandwiches and apps . 470 E. Windmill.

Denny's and Mad Greek(neither one I'd rec'd) at the outlet mall when you get there.

Nothing close to the freeway. Unless you go to the M Resort.
Koraku inside the outlet mall. Kind of a Japanese coffee shop.
I'd eat there. They're a chain with two restaurants in the LA area.
