Vacuum packed italian chestnuts

EvelynRay Dec 12, 2010 11:12 AM

Has anyone seen vacuum packed Italian chestnuts in any stores recently. I bought some last year, I think they were Italissima brand but i'm not sure.

I have seen jarred chestnuts but they are quite a bit more expensive.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Italissima is Bosa Foods' own brand. Give them a call. If anyone would have it it would be them.

Seen them in a foil pack. Could it be Dan-D Foods. Bought at East West Market on Main.

I ended up using whole chestnuts and shelling them myself. If anyone else is looking however I have since bought them at Gourmet Warehouse. I can't remember the brand, not Italissima though they only seem to sell them in the larger jars.
