Restaurant for Christmas Eve Bethpage LI

Help!!
I need a place to take my mother for Christmas Eve
She's in Bethpage, on South Oysterbay Road.(by Grumman)
Hoping not to drive more than a 1/2 hour tops.
Looking for something nicely decorated for the holidays and with good to excellent food.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

    I haven't eaten there in a long time but the Milleridge Inn is known for their holiday decor and it's right in that neighborhood.

      How about The Carltun in Eisenhower Park? I haven't been there in a while, but the food used to be very good. And it's very pretty and probably beautifully decorated for the holiday.

        Give us a break. What are your tastes and budget?
        Steakhouse?
        Seafood?
        Asian?
        Italian?

          Sorry,
          American, Italian, French, Steak House, Seafood would all be good.
          No to Asian, Mexican, Thai or Indian.
          Money wise, moderate to expensive. The better the food, the more I'd be willing to pay.

            Check PETER LUGER in great neck. I am sure you will be thrilled. Depending on your alcohol consumption about $90 pp. Arguably The best there is. A must one time in your life experience. Cash only. Bring a big wad.

              Sure, I know Peter Lugers. Many years ago I lived in the area and knew someone who worked in the kitchen.
              I was hoping for something closer to the Bethpage/Plainview area.
              Id like to keep the driving down to less than a 1/2 hour.
              Any other suggestions?

                  I've heard alot of good things about Luigi Q.
                  Unfortunately, my mother went there for lunch a few years ago and was unhappy with it. I'm not sure why she didn't like it, but I dont think she wants to go there again.
                  I'm going to suggest it to her, but just in case, do you have any other recommendations for the area?
