Best Chile Relleno?

I'm guessing more tex mex than any "real" mexican restaurant.

I haven't found one at any of our usual haunts. I'm American enough that I like it battered and cheesy, but I like latin food enough I want it to be spicy, with flavorful and authentic rice/beans.

I think I'm in withdrawal...On a recent vacation in South Florida I had an amazing relleno with a chipotle raspberry sauce that was horrifingly hot in the best possible way. We went a second time and they weren't as hot (but still awesome) and the guy at the table next to me was sweating eating the same thing.

Just shows me they are using fresh produce and something like peppers will vary.

Sorry! Philadelphia suburbs. We're in Pitt enough that that area wouldn't be out of the question, nor Lancaster area.

If your primary interest is in places near Philadelphia, you should post this thread on the Philadelphia board, not the Pennsylvania board.

I live two hours from Philadelphia and while on the PA board, I can get answers for Bucks/Lehigh counties, I rarely can do so on the Philadelphia board.
