Noche Buena Beer in the Triangle?

Hi All,

My parents lived in Mexico for 10 years and this is their first Christmas back in the states. My father loved Noche Buena, a special Mexican beer only brewed in Monterrey around the holidays. I've heard that it has been found in the states and am trying my hardest to find some around here. The brewery is owned by Heineken now, so I am holding out hope. Anyone seen the beer around the Triangle? I'm going to try the tiendas first, but I hear that some people have found in variety packs at the costco/sams clubs and might try there next..

  1. If you can't find it in the tiendas, try Peace Street Market in Raleigh or Sam's Quick Stop in Durham. These are my first stops when I'm trying to track down an obscure beer.

And if you find it, let us know where you found it. I'm curious about it now.

I was in Sam' Quick Stop (THE best beer selection in the Carolina's) last night, and they said that they don't carry it.
