Good kitchenware stores for range of pepper mills?
I'm looking to buy my dad a pepper mill for Christmas, and I want to be able to try out the candidates before either buying one or ordering one. I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion for the best store or stores in the Bay Area to try a range of peppermills out. I'm coming into the city from Santa Rosa this weekend. I'm looking at the Unicorn Magnum and the keytop one, the Peugeot line, the Zassenhaus, and the Atlas. Any ideas?

IKEA use to carry a couple of nice yet reasonably priced mills...ceramic discs, nice design/shape. I have two different ones and so far they've lasted 4-5 years with no issues. I think they were like $8 bucks. Given the $30 buck types, it was a deal.

Was just going to suggest the Sur La Table in Santa Rosa first. You might also find this thread on pepper mills on the Cookware board helpful for which brands to seek out.
