Will be staying in Laconia, just found out family dinner isnt happening so we are left looking for a place open christmas evening. 5-7 adults, one child....type of food might nto matter given I am not even sure what will be open! Same with cost...willing to drive but probably not more than 30 minutes. thanks!!!

I think that The Lakehouse in Meredith is open on Christmas....and maybe some of the other Common Man restaurants too.

You might like to try the Church Landing in Meredith. Very nice, (aka Common Man owns it) or since you are in Laconia, Try a place called "O's" its nice and not too over the top. Its a hotel, spa and just a nice place to have dinner with the family. Im originally from that area so I can attest. Its a good spot. Call for reservations just in case. Good luck and have a great holiday

The Lakehouse at Church Landing in Meredith overlooks Lake Winnipesaukee and is quite elegant. They will be open 11:00-6:00. . Bear in mind you're in New Hampshire and your waiter may address you as "you guys". http://www.thecman.com/uploads/12_242...
