Christmas Eve dinner in Reston

Do you know if any restaurants are doing anything special for Christmas Eve?

When we lived in New Jersey, we always went out for Clams Casino and Chicken Francaise - or whatever was on special. I don't feel a need to re-create that, but would love to go someplace after work and have something a little festive.

There is a nice wine bar and bistro in the new Westin hotel across the street from Reston Town Center. It's called Vinifera and I love the ambiance, the food and of course, the wine.

I haven't gone yet but have heard good things. Just wanted to say this is across the toll road, not the street. It's on the South side of the toll road, near to the big brown building.

I really enjoyed the paella at Vinifera about a year and a half ago.

PassionFish in Reston would be a nice place to go for an upscale seafood meal.

PassionFish is closed on Christmas Eve through December 26th.
