Bongi's Turkey Farm's fried chicken

CapeCodGuy Dec 9, 2010 12:08 PM

To think it took me to 52 years of age to discover this place. That's damn fine fried chicken. I've never had better in all of New England. Plus, a 3 piece box, with biscuit, slaw, and potato wedges for only $6.99. MMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I don't know, can't say I'm a huge fan. The chicken is good, I'd prefer it a little more crispy but it is fresh and I can't think of a better alternative around here so I guess we somewhat agree on that. I'm surprised you liked the fries though. They're just not that good in my opinion. Always soggy has been my experience.

Fries aren't great, but I didn't dislike them in any way. They have a baked potato taste which I kind of liked. The chicken I've had (only twice now) was terrific both times. Great flavor, quite juicy, and crisp to my liking (Think KFC original versus crispy...only good!)

Rte 53 in Duxbury. About 2 miles off of exit 10 on Route 3.

Take out only. The turkey's not bad either!
