Casual, but decent in Victoria and area?

Hey all...
Going out to eat with visiting in-laws this weekend. Would like to find a decent (non-franchise) restaurant, but nothing too upscale or expensive (they are paying). This cuts out Zambris, Cafe Brio, etc. Stage is definitely not their scene either. Might be a tall order, but does anybody have a few suggestions?
Cheers!

  1. When my wife and I want to go to a decent but not too expensive restaurant, we usually head to Pizzeria Primastrada (Bridge St. location as the Cook St. location is too busy).

If pizza is not their thing, there is always Ferris's (the upstairs restaurant is a bit more interesting than the street level restaurant).

I have not eaten there yet, but Tibetan Kitchen on Broughton seems quite popular.

How about Pink Bicycle for burgers? It is a sit-down restaurant with full service and a liquor licence. There is an effort to source locally (all the lamb is local).

It is tiny, and open for dinner only on Thursdays and Fridays, but what about Devour on Broughton? It is certainly very reasonably priced for what you get.

Let us know what you decided upon.
