Kastoori, Tooting [London]

Sad news: Kastoori has closed. The lease had gone up to an unmanageable amount.

        This is bad news. I live not far from there, was a regular customer, and my son had been badgereing me for a while to take us there again. I particularly liked the distinctive East African-Asian cooking, and the Kastoori's puddings and lassis. I wonder if the Thanki family will set up elsewhere.
