Looking for Pub in Downtown Core to take out of town customer

I agree with the other posters on Q&B
If you want to stay in the downtown core, PJ OBriens or Irish Embassy would be my suggestions (Irish can get very loud - just FYI)

Beer Bistro has a good beer list but the food is meh and it is LOUD. Conversation can be very difficult at times.

I haven't been to PJ O'Brien in a long time, but it might be another non-Firkin option.
