Hi..see many pubs but want a really good authentic one...any suggestions? I see some on the Path where my office is..any suggestions are welcomed...bob
Sin & Redemption - not really an authentic pub per say, but has a great vibe
I agree with the other posters on Q&BIf you want to stay in the downtown core, PJ OBriens or Irish Embassy would be my suggestions (Irish can get very loud - just FYI)

Beer Bistro has a good beer list but the food is meh and it is LOUD. Conversation can be very difficult at times.
It's also not what I would call an "authentic pub".
Queen and Beaver is by far my fav pub these days.

I haven't been to PJ O'Brien in a long time, but it might be another non-Firkin option.
