Looking for Pub in Downtown Core to take out of town customer

Hi..see many pubs but want a really good authentic one...any suggestions? I see some on the Path where my office is..any suggestions are welcomed...bob

    Sin & Redemption - not really an authentic pub per say, but has a great vibe

      I agree with the other posters on Q&B
      If you want to stay in the downtown core, PJ OBriens or Irish Embassy would be my suggestions (Irish can get very loud - just FYI)

          Beer Bistro has a good beer list but the food is meh and it is LOUD. Conversation can be very difficult at times.

            Queen and Beaver is by far my fav pub these days.

              Yep... second JennaBean's rec for Q&B.

              I haven't been to PJ O'Brien in a long time, but it might be another non-Firkin option.
