Whoopie pies

Has the Whoopie Pie craze hit NYC? Where to find them?

  1. The chef at Flex Mussels makes great deep fried whoopie pies. Don't know if they're still on the menu but I tasted them at last year's Chocolate Show and they were amazing!

Thanks Jess. I'll check it out over Christmas when I visit. I believe he was on Top Chef just desserts.

    2. there's a stand in the Limelight Marketplace that makes whoopie pies. the whole market is kinda interesting in that it was once a church, then a nightclub and now a shopping mall of sorts. MarieBelle has a great outpost there, as well.

      1. SweeteryNYC, the old Street Sweets truck, carries chocolate and pumpkin whoopie pies. Check twitter for their location.

        1. Lobster Place, Columbine (daily special, goes fast), One Girl Cookies or Baked in Brooklyn, Milk and Cookies, This Chick Bakes available at Joe the Art of Coffee, Glaser's, Oak Grove Plantation at the Union Sq Greenmarket

          2. There's a vendor at the greenmarket in union square that sells them. Although I'm not sure what days they are there. I think wednesday or Friday and Saturday. I just had their Pumpkin Whoppie Pies and they were really good.
