Source for masa in Seattle?

Does anyone have recommendations on where to buy the best masa in Seattle? Specifically, I want MASA PREPARADA PARA TAMALES, FINA . I know there is a Latin Market in Pike Place Market and am looking for other possibilities.

Thanks, in advance, for help!

  1. I forget the name but there are two latin grocery stores on Greenwood close to 85th. One's Mexican and one is El Salvadorean I think. I've bought masa for tamales there once.

    1. Oh, one down in White Center andone on 900 in Renton. Renton has it al the time, White Center is special order. DOn't recall names of either. Renton store might be LA Venadita?

      1. My Safeway (Rainier Valley) has several brands para tamales, as do the Red Apple markets on Beacon Hill and at 23rd and Jackson.

        1. There are several Mexican markets in White Center that carry this fresh, in the refridgerated section. Guadalupe' Market (Burien) makes their own, and have it on the far left aisle when you enter the store. They have their own tortilla manufacturing facility in store as well, and some of the best fresh refridgerated salsas I have had. Especially the verde.
You can also try the Le Mexicana Tortilla Factory at 10020 14th Ave SW

I've bought fresh masa at La Mexicana, but I don't know whether they do preparada. They told me to call ahead to make sure they had it.
