Hell Night Redux

First night impressions.
The atmosphere was fun, as usual. Not as crazy as last time, though perhaps 'cause we were there earlier in the evening. Great flavors, as usual some dishes brought the heat more that others.
Staying away from the pasta, our table felt that the Wings of Ass Destruction were the hottest. If you just ate the wings, ...great flavor, a little sweetness with a good guava taste. If you had much of the oniony relish with the ghost pepper jam served on top.....they lived up to their name.
Of the mains, everyone had a different favorite: I loved the Middle Eastern Style Smoked & Slice Lamb Shoulder with Sweet n' Hot Apricot Relish, loved the mint cous cous that came with it, though maybe it was the excuse to have a little yoghurt!
The blackened swordfish was also a big hit, though the slice was a little thin.
Other reports?

Went last night. It was a good atmosphere, although to the OP's point - I was expecting a little more craziness. I didn't see any gas masks, which was a little disappointing ;-)

We stayed towards the milder side of the menu. The spicy margaritas were great, the spare ribs were good (and huge!), the hell fries were awesome, the grilled corn was a letdown (after Toro's grilled corn, it's hard to get excited about others), and the lamb entree was good but not spicy. The best, however, was their banana split because we ditched the mango ice cream and had instead the chocolate mint pepper ice cream. That was amazing - it was hot and cool, fiery and soothing all at the same time.

I'd never been to ECG during normal times, so I'd like to go back to sample their regular menu - the food on Hell Night was fun but not especially well-executed, which I totally chalk up to it being a crazy atmosphere.

Still worth it, though - the table behind us got the pasta and then shortly followed up with 2 pints of milk. Craziness!

How was the heat level of the lamb? Anyone have any entrees that were particularly hot?

Not too hot. Listed as three bombs only. None of the entrees were killer. Though the West Indies Smoked Pork 3 Way... Jerk Shoulder, Crispy Ribs & Scotch Bonnet Sausage, with Guava Lava Glaze, Real Inner Beauty Hot Sauce was hot where slathered with Inner Beauty. We didn't have the steak.
