I was wondering where I can buy a yogurt starter in vancouver. Can they be purchased in grocery stores or do I need to go to some specialty health food store?
All you really need is a bit of regular yogurt with active culture in it. Otherwise I'm sure that just about any health food store or a Capers/Whole Foods would carry the cultures for sale.
I'm almost 100% certain Capers carries yogurt and kefir cultures...I tried my own hand at yogurt making a couple years ago, and that's where I got mine.
thanks guys, I just bought a yogurt maker and excited to see how it turns out.
