Frozen chicken stock

I'm looking for good frozen chicken stock for general purpose cooking. I don't like the kind that comes in boxes at Whole Foods. Any recommendations?

I've used the Custom Culinary Savory Roasted Chicken base (Gold Label) from the refrigerated section at Surfas and I think it's pretty great stuff. I use it primarily for risotto and have gotten some pretty great responses from it. Has a good, roasted, chicken-y taste. Good enough that I don't use the homemade stuff for risotto anymore.

Second this brand. The ingredients are typically beef/chicken fat with sea salt. No MSG and very clean tasting. Stater Brothers used to carry this by my house but have seen it at other major grocers in the canned broth area.

I've seen it at Gelsons and the first place I saw it was at Trader Joe's. I believe the last time I bought it a few months ago was at TJ's.

surfas and bristol farms have frozen stock. the concentrate from trader joe's (in little packets, in a small carton near the boxed stuff) is really good. low sodium, and less expensive than the cartons. i like to use half water and half wine to reconstitute.
(disclaimer--i wrote two trader joe's cookbooks, but they are independently authored and published---no financial affiliation with privately held tjs!)

Thanks! Do you like the concentrate better than the frozen stocks you mentioned?

i really like the concentrate. versatile and convenient. i recommend trying a package. if you don't care for it for any reason, tj will refund or replace it without any problem. if you do like it, start stockpiling, because we all know that the mighty sword of discontinuation falls without warning around there!
