TonkOtsu ramen in Montreal?

  • 5

I just read about it on here http://norecipes.com/2009/12/30/tonko... and decided that I'd like to try eating it at a restaurant before embarking on the seemingly epic journey of making it myself . Is there any to be had in Montreal?

  1. This is sadly not a great ramen city, but search for threads on Sumo Ramen and Ramen-Ya.

kazu has good ramen too, but only available during lunch

I second mak2k - the ramen at Kazu is AMAZING (for Mtl).

I finally tried Ramen-Ya and had the tonkatsu ramen...really good, really tasty...the pork was perfectly cooked...I'm no expert and I still have yet to make it to Kazu...but I was very happy and satisfied with Ramen-Ya...great service and atmosphere too.
