Kotta Japanese Restaurant - anyone been?

Has anyone been yet? It just recently opened on King just West of Dufferin in Toronto?

I finally went there as well and agree with baredown. Very clean pretty restaurant, sushi was great and the prices were good too. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I usually go to In Japan on Atlantic but this is a nice alternative closer to home - and their veggie and shrimp tempura is much better than In Japan.

childofthestorm is right about the spicy tuna roll though. I was also not a fan of finely diced fish mixed with the spicy sauce - I prefer a whole piece of fish. But the sashimi and sushi I had were all fresh and tasted great. I didn't try any other rolls other than the spicy tuna.

Got takeout for lunch one day - it's two minutes from my office - and the spicy tuna appeared to have been whipped in a blender. Time to keep making the trip to Sushi 930.

OK I went there - very clean resto, great salad and miso with the sushi combo, averages sushi (the soy they serve is a little salty).
But it's a great value, with great service. Go there on a date!
I wish them the best of luck on a corner that really needs some class - duff and king.
