Some Really Really Good Peanut Brittle?

Every year end, when I lived in Michigan, one of the local churches sold peanut brittle at the local mall. It was splendelicious--full of peanuts, thin, rich, crunchy brittle. I know that locals love Mrs. See's brittle, but where can SFBA brittle worshipers find even better? While I'm at it--spanish peanuts, roasted peanuts, THIN brittle!

I saw a fancy peanut brittle -- might have been the "virginia" mentioned in the previous post -- at Berkeley Bowl, at the end of an aisle in the back of the store. It seemed expensive to me.
My dentist would LOVE for me to eat peanut brittle -- he could make another payment on his yacht.

Oh, and you can find spanish peanuts at whole foods...I've seen it near the cheese section.

Try Candy Darling on Sutter Street (at Jones) in San Francisco. I would call before going over because I do not know how often they make it and if it is available all the time.
