Pate de campagne
or the country pate.
Ever since I tasted the country pate in France years ago, I have been searching for good pate for years. Most gourmet supermarkets sell pate usually from brands such as Les Trois petits but these lack that deep rich meaty flavor like the ones in France.
So is there a store (or restaurant) that makes really good country pate?

I drank alot of wine and had lots of good pate and other fatty stuff in France almost non stop. When I came back from France, I had lost at least 5 lbs...strange..maybe it's the air, maybe it's the wine...I don't know what it is but every time I come back from France eating all the goodies, I never gain any weight. I truly do believe it's the processed food in America that makes people fat.
