Burger Trip

Hi guys,
I'm visiting my brother who lives in Vegas in a couple of weeks from Boston and am looking for good burger suggestions. I'll be in town for roughly 5 days and would like to do a couple. Also very open to ideas for other meals, not looking to break the bank by any means, but something maybe I can't et at home. I happen to write a burger blog here in Boston, so 3-5 of the best in Vegas would be appreciated. I did Burger Bar a few years ago and wouldn't mind a return, is it worth it? Here's what I'm considering at this point:

BLT Burger
Todd English Pub
Burger Bar
Bachi Burger
Sammy’s L.A. Pastrami
Bradley Ogden
Strip Burger
Mesa Grill

Mesa Grill
3570 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109

Bradley Ogden
3570 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109

BLT Burger, Burger Bar, Bradley Ogden & Le Burger Brasserie (Paris) are the places to check out. All the other ones you've listed may have a decent burger on their menu, but I wouldn't go out of my way to dine there just for that reason. Todd English PUB does many things well. I wouldn't say burgers are their specialty, rather the carver meats are their go-to signatures.

Burger Bar had the best burger I've ever eaten. The others come in the top ten but not the top five. For example, I'm a bigger fan of Five Guys than In-N-Out. Incidentally, whether or not you like it or roll your eyes when I say this, but Bartley's in Cambridge had one of the best burgers I've ever had. Just remember, the only way to truly judge and compare the meat is to not load the sandwiches with too many toppings. Also, to compare the burgers between places, you'd have to order the exact same toppings on all. But I'm sure you already knew that.

I always go pretty straight-forward, ie cheeseburger, sometime bacon, but very consistent. Bartley's is cool, always love the vibe, the burgers are what they are. I have strong feeling against 5 Guys, but absolutely love In-N-Out.

I would consider Carnevinos as well. Very solid.

The burger at Mesa Grill is very good. The bartender at Mesa also recommended the burger at Bradley Ogden. It's on my list to try on my next trip. I love Burger Bar as well.

I agree with the other poster about Todd English Pub. That is one our favorite stops when in Vegas but their carvery meats are the standout there.
