re: peppermonkey
second peppermonkey's excellent recommendation. I find kobawoo's bossam a nice change from the usual kbbq pork belly. It's boiled with garlic, ginger, soybean paste (dwenjang) and coffee to mellow out the "gaminess" (koreans tend to find the "odor" of pork offputting), and served sliced with salted cabbage leaves, sweet/sour daikon rounds, sweet soy sauce marinated jalapenos, and kimchi "innards" (julienned strips of daikon marinated as you would kimchi). You wrap everything inside a cabbage leaf and/or daikon round, and the crunchy, salty/sweet/spicy vegetables are a nice contrast to the tender meat.

all korean bbq places serve pork belly.. some as listed above are focused on pork. another option will be Ham Ji Park on 6th street. you can try 3 different porks: pork belly on the grill, pork neck stew and their bbq pork ribs.
