I'm looking for a non-asian place somewhere north of 407 for Sunday lunch, where would you suggest? Thanks!

Lemon, on Markham Main St, is pretty good - http://www.lemonbistro.com/lemonbistro/wikiData/lemon/Home.jsp - although I don't know if they are open for lunch.

And it's nothing spectacular but I have always enjoyed every meal I have had at the Blacksmith's Bistro on Unionville Main St http://www.blacksmithsbistro.com/

Thanks so much for your replies, lemon is not open on Sunday lunch unfortunately and neither is Terra. I am going to suggest Blacksmith's bistro and see if my friends wants to try that

Terra might fit the bill, but it's actually just *south* of the 407, on Yonge Street.
