Has anyone been to this yet?

http://www.torontochristmasmarket.com/

In the ads they say "European Food Vendors", wonder who/what that is?

Also mulled wine and a variety of beers...

I remember experiencing the Christmas markets in Europe a number of years back (in particular in Paris) and I imagine this might not live up to my expectations but I am thinking of going next weekend unless it is a total dud... Hopefully some interesting food vendors!

It's a fun way to kill an hour or so, but frankly not much for foodies. There are a couple booths selling European specialties, there was a dutch booth and a couple other ones, a couple booths selling sausage on a bun. Most of the booths were selling crafts and gifty things. All of the regular coffee/hot chocolate places were lined up out the door.

There is a booth selling fries (chip-wagon-style), with cheese scraped from a wheel of melted raclette. Delish.

Didn't quite recall that one because when we were there on Saturday you couldn't get within a mile of the booth, it was obviously popular.
