What's the Best Greek Restaurant in Toronto?

My birthday's coming up and I was looking into going out to a greek restaurant the evening of.
I was looking at something with a nice ambience and, well, great food of course!
Some biggies for me on the menu are their tapenade and their saganaki.
Were going to be in a group of around 11 people, which includes a baby.
I was hoping for the location to be in Greek Town, and I need to decide before the 28th!

  1. I live in that area (Danforth and Broadview) and frankly, the best way to pick a good restaurant is to just wander until you find a seat! It's always really busy (in a good way) pretty much everywhere you go. For my money, I really like Omonia. It's a bit more expensive but they've got tons of seating and the Saganaki and Calamari are REALLY good.

Hope you find a good one! Happy birthday!

I think the PANTHEON on the Danforth would be a super place...kid friendly and able to make a space for you and your party of 11 or so BUT you must call them to arrange/reserve a few days ahead of time. I think that their Calamari is the absolute best in the city and pretty much all of their appetisers are really quite good....The CALAMARI is won't find any other place as good on the Danforth and the only other Calamari in town (for me anyways) is at "Marcello's" (St. Clair West...
