asian lunch south of airport

Flying into PDX Thursday and looking for Thai or Vietnamese lunch place not too far from airport. After lunch we're heading to Lake Oswego so going that direction if possible. thoughts?

      Ha&VL is a viet soup place on 82nd that has daily specials. These soups are excellent.
      You could also go to Pok Pok for lunch.

        I don't have a specific place to recommend, but I can aim you in the general direction. Take 205 south from airport, get off at Foster Road exit, West, and that'll take you to SE 82nd Ave, which runs parallel to 205. There are a bunch of great Asian stores and restaurants up and down 82nd.

          Last year I was recommended a Thai place for lunch -- it must have been from Chowhound-- and in getting out my Portland map, it was somewhere off NE Sandy Blvd., east of the Fremont district but west of 205. It was in a very non descript area but the food was very good.

          Does that ring any bells for anyone?

          If not, favorite lunch place in Fremont district?
