Open Late - Plymouth/Canton/Livonia/Northville Area, MI

My husband and I go to a lot of hockey games in Plymouth, MI. The games let out pretty late, and everything seems closed. Not being familiar with that side of town, I'm hoping some of you could suggest some places that might be open late and fit our criteria?

* Games let out around 9:45 p.m., so anything that closes at 10:00 p.m. is pretty much a no-go. Closing time of 10:30 p.m. or later is desired.

* Arena is at Beck Rd & M-14, so we're looking for something within 5-15 minutes drive (any further and we might as well just go all the way home to eat).

* We'd prefer something non-chain, non-coney/family/diner, no boring American food. Sorry to be picky, but we can get that stuff near home, so we'd prefer to try something more unique.

Thanks!

  1. If it is a Friday or Saturday you can get into Cellar 849 until 11.

    1. Last I knew, Bi Bim Bab on Main Street in Novi closes at 10:30pm M-Th and 11pm on Fri/Sat. Might be do-able. Same hours at Toasted Oak. These are a very short drive from the 275-696 intersection. Granted, still might be a rush...

      1. Cherry Blossom in Novi is open until 10:30 weekdays and 11 weekends and has above-average Japanese food. A bit of a drive to 96 and Beck for the 10:30 closing, though. Might try Ashley's in Westland—I believe they're open until 12, and they have a truly impressive beer selection.

While the beer works at Ashley's....the food is just a grade above Denny's.
