Favorite "burger" recipes? Turkey? Bean? Salmon? Veggie? Lamb?
I love having ready-made burgers in the freezer for easy weeknight dinners, but am getting bored of my standard turkey burger recipe.
Anyone have anything they love that's not just a standard beef burger?

Chow does, of course!
http://www.chow.com/galleries/118/8-j...The last "burger" I had was one where I took some pulled pork, mixed it with some spices, panko, collards hot sauce, and fried it. It was actually passable, but not something I'd make unless I had more pork than I know what to do with again.
My favorite is where I stuff the burger with sausage, top it with mozzarella, basil and tomatoes, and serve it between sourdough buns for a pizza-burger.

That cole slaw recipe is damn good, too.

My wife used to do lula kebabs on the grill but she has a short attention span and started forming the mixture into burgers rather than smaller ovals. No reason that wouldn't apply to any ground-meat kebab recipe. The lula is 1/2 beef, 1/2 lamb with chopped onion, parsley, cumin, turmeric, pepper, salt. We never make it the same way twice. It's fantastic with sauteed onions and peppers.
