Mirage in Raleigh is open for Christmas Eve (dinner) and then for drinks, etc. on Christmas Day (10 is the opening, I think).

Their sushi is awesome - sit at the bar, and let the sushi chef guide you!

I can tell you that Lulu and I had Thanksgiving at Crossroads - buffet, same price (if I remember correctly), pleasant enough; not great but nice.

I'd guess that Gourmet Kingdom (and other Chinese places) will be open.

Pretty much every Chinese restaurant will be open. That is the traditional Jewish way to celebrate Dec.25, after all. :-)

its fairly popular with Latinos as well. We tend to do our celebrating on Christmas eve, and snooze on Christmas day...lol

I saw Kari & Lulu at Crossroads & that was the best part of the meal:)

Hey any Hounds want to go meet up at Gourmet Kingdom for Christmas? As rockycat says that's what we do: go to Chinatown;-)

That sounds really festive. I like this idea a lot.
