Up to $250 per head/private room for 16...suggestions?

I need suggestions for a restaurant in Boston with a private room for 16 people. Excellent cuisine, money is not really an object (up to 250 pp w/alcohol).

Clio has a private room but I don't remember how many it seats. A tasting would cost about 1/2 of your price, before alcohol, tax and tip.

I'm pretty sure L'Espalier does that kind of thing. I seem to remember that the new space has at least one private room.

Dalí in Somerville has a back room. It's tapas; many on the boards dislike it, but I like it fine.

Eastern Standard has a private dining room in the restaurant, and a new one upstairs in the hotel. I bet they could come up with something pretty great for less than your limit.

Think Tank in Cambridge accommodated us for a similarly sized function. The food was great, awesome drinks, and I think you'd be pretty hard pressed to even come close to your price limit.

Why don't you consider Erbaluce? The private dining room would be nice for your group and if you engage the chef he could put together a spectacular meal with that kind of budget -- including wine pairings. You could keep it under your budget then take everyone out for sloppy whiskeys at McCormack and Schmuck after.

Erbaluce remains one of my favorite places in town.

Menton has a private room that could accommodate sixteen people, although you'd be pushing $250/pp. Most fine restaurants that aren't totally space-crunched have a private room for occasions such as these.
