Even tho we are in the middle of holiday excess, I have already had my fill of cream, sugar, cinnamin, pumpkin and potatoe. I feel the same about overly fancy restaurant fare, truffle, butter, oil. I have been enjoying a Ramen crawl thru the south bay, but my other half does not care for noodle soup. so my question is, Where to go to clear out the cloying taste of too much rich December food?

A nice clean raw bar should do the trick.
    Bar Crudo? Swan's Oyster Bar?

Japanese food can be very 'clean' -- especially Kiss, Ino Sushi. If you can brave the wait, Kirala in Berkeley has a robata grill that's also very fresh.

You could put a lovely dinner together with multiple apps off the Boulevard menu.

Or head up to Ubuntu in Napa.
