Swarmjam coupons?

Whar do you think of the Swarmjam coupons? Is it safe to buy these on the internet? Also, has anyone tried to use these types of coupons and did you have trouble with them?

brand new, just started today so no one will have experience. Several people here use groupon for restaurant deals though, and I haven't heard of (or personally had) any problems really. Swarmjam is run by postmedia, the company that owns the calgary herald, edmonton journal, etc so will have good connections in the local community in terms of advertising (whch is really what this is all about) and should also be legit.
Today's edmonton one is for funky pickle pizza...better than groupon has had recently.

Thanks, Dan, for some of the groupon info. I'm a bit leery 'cos the website doesn't have a lock icon when you go to put your credit card info.

I noticed this when I ordered mine this morning as well -- however if you look at the URL it does switch over to https:// which means that it is a secure connection!

I did buy it just now and added the 3d layer of security for extra credit card protection.

Google thinks enough of Groupon that they are offering 5-6 BILLION to buy them. I think they are safe.

I did email Swarmjam about the lock icon and support says they will insert the lock icon on the payment window - just to alleviate payment fears.
