Looking for canned olived stuffed with anchovies in the West L.A. area...

Hola todos,

Looking for canned olives stuffed with anchovies. Not pimiento, not cheese, but ANCHOVIES.

I last had luck finding this at La Espanola in Harbor City, but that's a bit of a schlep for me.

As always, Thanks in Advance!

I saw them at Smart & Final in a 1 lb can, if it ever comes up again.

la espanola was the first place that J.L. noted, but mentioned that it was kind of a hike for him

I've seen them at Cost Plus in the past, but I haven't been in a while so I don't know if they still carry them.

You may want to check Bay Cities Italian Deli. I swear I've seen them there, in the canned condiments / olives aisle.

Also, Surfas has olives stuffed with smoked anchovies.

The fresh seafood stand at the Sunday Mar Vista FM on Grand View has boquerones as well as olives stuffed with pimiento and encircled with anchovies, on a small skewer. They're in plastic trays and kept on ice at the market. I know it's not the same, but does close count? :)
