Burmese Restaurant

Harry Rolnick Dec 1, 2010 02:14 PM

The last Burmese Restaurant (Mingala, on East 5th Street), closed a few months ago, alas. The only place I can have my favorite tea-leaf salad and curries etc etc is at a good little place in Philadelphia. Hardly worth it for trip down there. Is anything faintly Burmese in the Manhattan/Brookly or Queens area? (I'll even take the Bronx or Staten Island)

Ate there a few months ago--it was fine, not outstanding. a lot like the mingala in the village, so if you liked that one, you'll probably be fine with this one.
