New Year's Eve dinners in North County

MrKrispy Dec 1, 2010 01:00 PM

we are looking for a place for some Chow-worthy fine dining for New Year's Eve somewhere in North County before we go to a party. Since we have a party to go to we don't need a place that has midnight events or anything like that.

I am hoping to make it to Blanca if they are open, but would like some other ideas in that vein. We would like to eat around Solana Beach/Encinitas/Carlsbad.

    Pamplemousse grill is phenomenal.

For anyone else interested her are the specifics for the NYE Dinner:
      5:30 pm – 10:30 pm

Treat your taste buds to seven courses of celebration with Ahi Tuna Sashimi, Alaskan King Crab with pistachios, Thai green curry and coconut, Gnocchi à la Parmigiano and more.

      Seven-course tasting menu
      $175 per adult / $260 with wine
Includes complimentary entrance to The Grand New Year's Eve Party

I have to call Blanca later to find out the details there. I am hoping to stay out of Del Mar unless we go to Addison.

Addison would be a helluva place to ring out the old year.

Addison has a NY's Eve tasting menu, w/ and w/o wine tastings. Last I called, they're still taking reservations for parties of 4 or less.

Market might be an option too.

How about the tapa's menu at Club M at the Grand Del Mar?
