Rome Restaurants open Sunday and Monday

Hello,
putting together list of restaurants to draw from, trying not to over plan but considering we will be there over Christmas holiday for 7 days want to secure at least a few days of meals including Sunday and a Monday. Any suggestions on some casual, lively atmosphere options? Can be wine bar with hot food ect.
thanks so much for any advice.

Monday is not usually a big problem in the historic center of Rome - Sunday is more of an issue because it is a business area and tends to close on Sunday. This question has been asked and answered several times recently - put Rome and Sunday into the search box above and you will get a list of relevant threads. Personally, I like La Campana for a relaxed Sunday lunch, but there are quite a few other choices.

I think the OP is talking about the 26th of December, which will make it a bit harder to find a good restaurant. Katie is putting together a list of places that will be open during the holidays, keep an eye on that!

Thanks a bunch for the suggestions, i guess I should have mentioned my true concern of it being Sunday the 26th and though perhaps that may make a difference as to openings. I am new to CH and have found it so far to be incredible and so kind of many to offer their experience and knowledge. I am certain as I am doing my research here and on Katie's blog and trying to make final decisions that i will have more advice. thanks to all in advance for your time.

Here is that list vinoroma was referring too. I posted it on my blog and have pasted the guts of the article here:

"one should expect limited hours and prix fixe menus at most restaurants, however, visitors to Rome will actually find many excellent restaurants are open on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, or both. Here are a few suggestions of where to dine, though be sure to book well in advance to secure a table:

Al Ceppo is open on December 25th.

All’Oro is open at dinner on the 24th and at lunch on the 25th.

Casa Bleve is open the 24th at lunch and dinner.

Da Danilo will be open for lunch on the 24th and 25th.

Il Pagliaccio is open on the 24th for dinner only and the 25th only at lunch. There will be a €155 prix fixe menu.

L’Angolo Divino is open the 24th at lunch and at lunch and dinner on the 25th.

Palatium will be open the 24th for lunch.

Roscioli will be open the 24th for lunch."

Of these, L'Angolo Divino will be open on the 26th.

I might be wrong, but I think Settembrini will be open as well.
