Sunday brunch in New Haven

I am searching for a place where cousins who don't see each other that often can dine well and talk quietly before visiting the Yale Art Gallery.

We actually did go there. Menu selections sounded better than they tasted but we were grateful for the ability to make a reservation and dine without a long wait in pleasant surroundings.

Bella Rosa is excellent. Their menu changes weekly and everything is very creative and fresh.

the restaurant sounds wonderful but the reviews report a long wait on Sunday. Any other thoughts for a place that would take a reservation -preferably near the museums? Are there any decent hotel dining rooms?
