Ottawa: cocoa nibs/beans?

Looking for cocoa nibs or beans for my christmas baking. Anyone know where to buy them in Ottawa?

  1. When I lived in Ottawa I had the exact same dilemma. I was never able to find a store that carried them, but I found that I could order them from Scharffenberger ( www.sharffenberger.com/ ) and got them in about a week.. Again that was number of years ago, so I am sure that something should be around by now.

    I have heard there was a place in Ottawa called Truffles Treasures or Treasured Truffles (or something like that with truffles in the name) that was supposed to sell not only chocolates but other stuff as well.

    I am in Ottawa from time to time, so I would interested to find out where you can get this stuff as well, and what the name of that store is...if it exists....

      Thanks Lazar; I am passing through as well. Thanks for the lead on Truffle Treasures; they have a shop in the Glebe and one in Westboro, and the website says they have 'Solar Roasted' Cacao beans, Raw Cacao, and Cacao Nibs. I will check them out.
