Good breakfast in Rancho Bernardo?

bizzwriter Nov 29, 2010 06:43 PM

Wondering if there are any good breakfast places in Rancho Bernardo, as close to the 15 as possible. I've got a casual meeting with a business associate who is in town for the week. Thanks!

Hey thanks, guys -- I'm thinking Champagne is going to be the ticket.

Veranda at RB Inn serves breakfast. There's also a Panera in nearby 4S Ranch.

There also is a Panera in Carmel Mountain Ranch, right by the Sears and near the Costco. That is very casual, though - pretty close to being fast food. Also, there is a Champagne Bakery in that area, next to Trader Joe's and near Ralph's. Very limited seating, but probably a bit more fancy than Panera.

Stopped in at Champagne Bakery a couple of weeks ago and was pleased, had a nice breakfast paninni. Slim pickings for breakfast around here.

The Original Pancake House on Pomerado at Twin Peaks (technically NW Poway, though it is kitty corner from SE Rancho Bernardo) was one of the best options when I was in that part of town, but I'm not sure if it is a place I'd take a business associate.
