Dinner at the Westin LAX or is there any good food at the airport itself?
We'll be overnighting at the hotel and won't have a car. I don't know if there is anything in walking distance but we'd probably pass on a taxi. We are open to all foods- ethnic and otherwise. Thanks, in advance, for all your suggestions.
Good timing. I'll be in LA in January for the TASTY Awards and was wondering this same thing myself. Is there at least an In & Out burger close by?

In & Out just outside the N perimeter of the Airport on Sepulveda Blvd. where Lincoln Blvd. Y's off to the West.

There is a $5 red Ocean Express trolly from your hotel that will take you to close by Manhattan Beach were you will find better food. I like Petros, for upscale Greek food or Darren's for good California Bistro food also many more casual restaurants.

There's absolutely nothing worth walking to, it's a food wasteland. Take a $15/10minute taxi and the world opens up to you - many restaurants to choose from if you're willing to hop in a cab.

Bilal Restaurant in the 7-11 strip mall on Manchester, about a 7 minute cab hop has unbelieveably delicious Indian/Pakistani/Halal food. The Friday Birani is always sold out by noon. Great ethic experience in food/company plus a well lit location - just cab it home as well, this is not a "walky" neighborhood.
