upcoming visit with kids (adventurous eaters)

We are visiting NOLA in December w/ our two preschool-aged kids. They love seafood (as do we) and are adventurous eaters compared to most kids their age - so basically, they will eat anything we eat, but we can't really take them to super high-end fancy places due to their age. All of us love spicy food, too. We are staying near French Quarter... suggestions on where we should go for good seafood and other NOLA treats?

RioMar...seafood with a Med twist. Good tapas at lunch.

At NOLA you can get Emerily dishes in a very casual atmosphere.

Casamento's. Mahoney's. Cochon or Cochon Butcher. College Inn. Elizabeth's. Dick and Jenny's maybe. I think if you go early, you can go almost anywhere. But also, Redfish Grill, Bourbon House, Domenica, are kid friendly. Luke would be great.

I'd add Mandina's to what is already a fine list...I ate in there as a kid.

I think it's great to expose kids to dining out from an early age.
