This is a second location of this Asian market, located at 747 Don Mills Road. Today was their fourth day open and I went to check it out. Here are some of my observations.

Nicely organized and signed.
Some of the aisles could a have been wider as there would be lots of congestion in places.
Lots of the produce is pre-wrapped on styrofoam trays.
Separate halal meat counter.
Separate seafood room.
Modest baked goods section.
Small bbq meats counter.
Small steam table selection for take-home combo meals (heavy on MSG.)

I hope this place does well and keeps up its neatness as it's on the way home from work for me. Good to have a place as an alternate to the RCSS up the street.

  1. Great. Nice to have a good Asian food market in the area.

    1. Went there this morning and I was impressed. They have a good selection of Caribbean, Indian, Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian stuff as well as Chinese. Now I won't have to drive too far for Maesri curry paste, harissa or dried shiitake.

The produce is good and the price is right. The place was very busy.

I was impressed by the asian and middle eastern selection. Even in Toronto it's rare to find the breadth of both these places in one setting.

The weekend is probably not the best time to make the visit here.
