Dusseldorf - recs for traditional German fare, beer halls, other

Will be my first trip and am going to be meetings customers. I know there is a famous bar street, but are there any standout beer halls? What about other German restaurants or regional Euro cuisine that I might not easily find here in New York City. Cheap or High end, it doesnt really matter.
