JoeDoe on 1st St between 1st & 2nd Ave is amaaazing, cozy, unpretentious-- great beer, beer cocktails, and special liquor cocktails (nice seasonal ones). You can also check out Jimmy's No. 43 on E. 7th St. between 2nd & 3rd Aves. - downstairs.
