Coffee granita in Austin - where to find

I have a serious craving for a coffee granita - if I recall when I was a student at UT I used to get them all the time at the Texas Union Store (this was back in '92). I don't want a frapuccino - I want the real thing - usually it's dispensed from a machine. Any ideas?

If you're up in the 620 and 183 area, I think Roaster's Coffee Haven has it. It's been a while, but I recall seeing it on the menu and seeing the machine.

Wanted to report that Roaster's Coffee Haven on 620 (between Anderson Mill Rd and 183) does have granitas - I just tell them no whip cream. Thank ssouth - my granita cravings have been answered!

Not sure whether it's still the case, but a few years back they had 'em, machine and all, at Mozart's (on Lake Austin).

After equal parts researching and revisiting my own granita fixes circa 1992 (La Creme, Dallas), the best I can offer is Hot Slices (also called Slices & Ices) at 2530 Guadalupe. This is second-hand, but I'll explore at some point this week.
