On Business to Lynwood

I'm in Lynwood for business for a single night. Need a place to take my partners. Doesn't have to be Michelin starred. A good local place, any kind of ethnic place, a great diner...just a good dining experience.

Sorabol is a fantastic Korean joint on Highway 99 in Lynnwood (close to Edmonds' end), and has gotten even better after their remodel.

For nicer places your best bet is to head west to the Edmonds shoreline. Lynnwood along 196th and toward Alderwood is mostly chains. However there are some good ethnic options (Korean, Thai, etc) in the area, mostly N&S along hwy 99, but some over towards Alderwood.

Thanks firecracker and paulj. I'm not going to be there until this Thu 12/2. Particularly appreciate the tip on Korean as it is a big favorite of my two people.

For very good Korean food with sketchy service and little ambiance, I like Ka Won in Lynnwood. if you were looking for nicer atmosphere (if this is a business meeting perhaps) I would suggest Kaya. It has tasty Korean food but with better service and surroundings. It is south of Lynnwood but easy to get to off the 99.

An interesting food experience, if not a dinning one, is the HMart grocery near Alderwood Mall. This a New Jersey based Korean chain (good meats, seafood, and vegetables). In the food court there's a Korean bakery (cabbage filled donut?), and Korean (2, one a BCD tofu), Vietnamese, Chinese stands.

I think this may be too late, but you should go down the hill toward Puget Sound and into picturesque Edmonds. I would try Epulo. It's good bistro fare.
