Best Saffron in DT
Where can I find the best saffron in downtown Montreal? I don't have a bus pass or the time to go past the DT areas (McGill to Concordia area).
Since it's for a gift, I don't know too much about it. From my readings, I would want to get the Iranian saffron?
Well, if you said that to José Andrés, he'd probably smack you and then convince you to purchase Spanish saffron. I like Spanish better but I have both. If you feel like getting Iranian saffron get it - it's a nice product.
Atwater Market probably the closest to the area you're willing to travel. Thinking Douceurs du Marché but poke around.
