Lazy Ox Chalkboard Specials
Hello all,
For those who've been, do the Lazy Ox Canteen specials change between lunch and dinner? Browsing the online menu it seems the lunch menu is rather limited compared to dinner, but if the chalkboard is still full I'm probably going to check out the lunch while I'm in LA next month.

It really is much more limited, so much so that I probably would not bother going for lunch again. While the chalkboard is still up and SEEMS to be available for lunch, they will most likely have little asterisks next to what few specials are actually available. Do yourself a favor and just go for dinner if you really want to experience LO to it's full potential.

Baloney is right.
We had a FLAWLESS meal at LO last week. We had to be downtown this morning, so we decided to try them for brunch since their brunch menu on line looked great.
Got there, the sandwich board said stop in for Brunch.Sat down and were handed a lunch menu. Brunch???? No we don't do brunch.
The stove wasn't fired up, they waited to serve my husbands finished burger until after the fryer heated up and the fries cooked. My ricotta pancakes pancakes (the only brunch item they served) were almost inedible.
If I hadn't had such a stellar meal a few day earlier, I wouldn't go back.But, we are going again on Tuesday, because that food was so damned good. Hoping lightening will strike twice.
Stay on top off your website and your signage, make sure you are ready to serve when the doors open. don't be sloppy.
Fingers crossed, cause we seriously loved it.
